Stark County Dog License
Just a friendly reminder to purchase your 2009 Stark County Dog License before the
end of January 2009. Dog license for the 2009 year will be available around the
first of December. You will have from the first of December to January 31st to purchase
dog license without paying a penalty. If you do not register between these dates;
fees are doubled.
You may purchase license on-line at www.auditor.co.stark.oh.us/dog_license.asp. The shelter itself
does sell dog license as well as several other local businesses in Stark County.
If you do choose to purchase your license at an agent's office and not directly
at the Stark County Auditor or the Stark County Dog Warden you will be charged a
.75 cent application fee.
Please remember when you are filling out your registration to mark the box across
from your phone number. By marking this box it gives the Auditor's office permission
to release you phone number. You never plan on your dog getting away from home but
in reality it does happen and by marking this box your phone number can be given
out by calling the Stark County Auditor's Office or from their website. If this
box is not marked you number will not be available on line for someone who may find
your dog.
