2010 Dog License
Ohio law requires all dogs over three months of age to be licensed. The Stark County
Auditor will have the 2010 dog license available December 1st. The cost per tag
will remain $12 per dog for the 2010 year. Please remember you can purchase your
license at different agents throughout the county or on line at www.auditor.co.stark.oh.us.
One very important factor is to leave the 2009 tags on until June 1, 2010 this will
help to insure a safe return home if by chance your dog does get away. Please remember
to fill out you application completely and please be sure to fill out the phone
number and to mark the box giving the Stark County Auditors permission to release
your phone number.
By marking this box; you are allowing the dog license number to be traced through
the Stark County Auditors website. The website only releases your phone number therefore,
it is important to mark the box and keep your phone number with the Auditors Office
updated. Keep in mind the internet is available 24/7 and if your pet gets lost this
allows your tag to be traced regardless of the time of day or which day of the week
it might be.
Deadline for 2010 dog license will be February 1, 2010 if you do not register your
dog before the deadline the penalty is $12 per dog.
