AMAZINGLY, THE HOLIDAYS ARE ALREADY HERE!

December 2006 -- It is time again to thank everyone who has made our work possible. We are fortunate to have caring, compassionate staff members whom we wish to thank for their consistent good work. We are also fortunate to have many volunteers who not only care for the shelter animals, but also work at various outreach events such as the county fair, the pet photos with Santa, the Mutt Strut, and the Waterfall & Pond Tour. We also have many wonderful, generous members who never fail to support our efforts on behalf of the animals.

We are also extremely fortunate to have individuals and businesses who consistently support our fundraising activities such as the annual fund drive and the annual reverse raffle dinner. Additionally, many local businesses serve as all-important sponsors of events such as the Waterfall & Pond Tour and the Mutt Strut.

We are also blessed to have a positive relationship with local law enforcement and with the judicial community (as noted later in this newsletter), so that the difficult task of pursuing cruelty, neglect and abandonment cases is possible.

It would be impossible to list everyone who has contributed to our efforts throughout the year, but we truly do value the ongoing support and assistance from each one.
