The Stark County Humane Society would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your continued support.  Without you - our donors, volunteers, adopters, community partners, Board members, and dedicated staff - who believe in our mission, "We speak for those who cannot speak for themselves," none of this would be possible.

In 2025, we opened our shelter doors to nearly 3000 animals in need.  The shelter is open to the public six days a week, with adoptions available seven days a week at both Stark County PetSmart locations.  Our staff members are on call 24/7/365 to respond to stray, sick, and injured companion animals throughout Stark County.  

This past year also brought exciting growth and visibility.  We launched a new website in November 2025 and remain active daily of Facebook and Instagram.  In December 2025, we expanded our outreach even furth starting a TikTok page dedicated to showcasing our adoptable furry friends.  We are proud to be an engaged part of Stark County and maintain a strong presence in today's digital world.

As we move forward, we continue to embrace the heritage that helped establish the Stark County Humane Society while growing and evolving to remain impactful in today's society.
