Stark County Humane Society is a Kuranda Bed Shelter

The Stark County Humane Society received more than 3,000 animals in 2025. As each animal arrives, their individual needs may differ. However, providing them with the Five Freedoms for Animals is never a question here at the Stark County Humane Society.

Five Freedoms for Animals

• Freedom from hunger and thirst
• Freedom from discomfort
• Freedom from pain, injury, and disease
• Freedom to express normal behaviors
• Freedom from fear and distress

Most of all, every animal deserves a warm, safe place to rest their head while they wait for their forever home.
